Dr. Bruce Hirsch, MD, FACP, AAHIVM

Dr. Bruce E. Hirsch has years of experience in the field of Infectious Disease. He earned his BA from Wesleyan University and his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. After completing both an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, he went on to complete a research fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He also completed fellowships in Infectious Diseases at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Shore University Hospital, respectively. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Infectious Disease. He is also a Certified HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Formerly, he served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He currently serves as an Attending Physician with Northwell Health, as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and as an Assistant Investigator at the Northwell Health Institute of Health System Science.
