Dr. Andrew Wachtel, MD, FCCP

Dr. Andrew S. Wachtel has 36 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He earned his BS in Biology from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MD from the Albany Medical College. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Formerly, he served as the Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center and as Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He was also an Associate Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He currently serves as an Attending Physician in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and as the Co-Director of the Southern California Institute for Respiratory Diseases. He is also a Pulmonary Specialist at Wolfe, Wachtel, and Artal, MDs.
