Dr. Andrew Baker, MD

Dr. Andrew M. Baker has specialized experience in the fields of Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Forensic Pathology. They earned their BS from the University of Iowa and their MD from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. After completing their residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, they went on to complete a fellowship in Forensic Pathology at the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. Today, the expert holds certifications in Forensic Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Clinical Pathology. Previously, they held roles as a Forensic Pathologist and Assistant Chief Medical Examiner at the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office and as Medical Staff at Hennepin County Medical Center. Currently, they work as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and Chief Medical Examiner and Staff at the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
