Dr. Allen Elster, MA, MD, MBA, FACR

Dr. Allen D. Elster has specialized experience in the fields of Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology, Diagnostic Ultrasound, and Radiology. They earned their BEng in Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, their MA in Neurophysiology from the University of Oxford, their MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business, and their MD from Baylor College of Medicine. After completing their residency in Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Today, the expert holds certifications in Neuroradiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Previously, they held roles as a Founder and Co-Director at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Staff Radiologist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Davie Medical Center, and Staff Neuroradiologist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center. Currently, they work as a Chair Emeritus at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, a Staff Neuroradiologist at St. Louis Children's Hospital, and a Staff Neuroradiologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
