Dr. Aaron Nagiel, MD, PhD

Dr. Aaron Nagiel has 6 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology. He earned his BA in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University, his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Rockefeller University, and his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. After completing an internship in Transitional Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, he went on to complete a residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the UCLA Stein Institute. Today, this expert is board certified in Ophthalmology through the American Board of Ophthalmology. Formerly, this expert served as the Director of the Retina Service at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles' Vision Center. He currently serves as an Attending Ophthalmologist and as the Principal Investigator of the Nagiel Laboratory at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He is also an Attending Ophthalmologist at LAC+USC Medical Center and CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Moreover, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
