Dr. Aaron Waxman, MD, PhD, FACP, FCCP

Dr. Aaron B. Waxman has 29 years of experience in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BS in Zoology from George Washington University, his Ph.D. in Anatomy and Neuroscience from Albany Medical College, and his MD from Yale School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He completed additional postdoctoral training in Neuroanatomy and Molecular Neurobiology at Yale School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Dyspnea and Performance Evaluation Center and as the Associate Director of the PCCM Fellowship Training Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He also served as an Attending Physician in the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children's Hospital. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program and as the Executive Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
