Dr. David Otterburn, MD, FACS

Dr. David M. Otterburn has extensive experience in the fields of General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He earned his BA in Political Science from Rutgers University and his MD from the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, his fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine, and his fellowship in Microsurgery at NYU Langone Health. Today, he is board-certified in Plastic Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is currently a Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Colege and an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also the Director of the Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Program and an Attending Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
