About Dr. David Brian Chessin, FACS, FASCRS, MD

Dr. David B. Chessin has 14 years of experience in the field of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his BA in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University and his MD from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed both an internship and residency in General Surgery and a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery, all at Mount Sinai Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Currently, he serves as a Surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital and Manhattan Surgical Associates LLP. He is also the Site Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Mount Sinai West and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
