Dr. Danilo Martins, MD, FACS

Dr. Danilo A. Martins has specialized experience in the fields of General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He earned his BS in Biology from Baylor University, his MS in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and his MD from the Texas A&M School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Surgery at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Previously, he held roles as an Emergency Medical Technician and Inventory Supervisor with Preferred Medical Transport and as a Senior Paramedic and Field Training Officer with Care First Emergency Medical Services. Currently, he works as a General Surgeon with SSM Health Medical Group.
