Dr. Daniel Spyker, MD, PhD

Dr. Daniel A. Spyker has specialized experience in FDA & Drug Safety, Clinical Pharmacology, Medical Toxicology, and Internal Medicine. They earned their BEE from Kettering University, their MS from Purdue University, their MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and their PhD in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. They went on to complete a residency in Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds a certification in Internal Medicine. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Medical Director in the Department of Clinical Risk Assessment and Coordination at Purdue Pharma, L.P., Director of Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamic Sciences at Genentech, Inc., and Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at OHSU School of Medicine. Currently, they work as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Medicine at F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Senior Director of Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Nova Pneuma, Inc., and Adjunct Professor of Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco.
