About Dr. Ciarán James Powers, FAANS, MD, PhD

Dr. Ciarán J. Powers has 12 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery. He earned his BA from Harvard College and both his MD and PhD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Neurological Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, he went on to complete fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center and then UW Health University Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurological Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Endovascular Fellowship Program and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at The Ohio State School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor at The Ohio State School of Medicine and an Endovascular Neurosurgeon at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
