Dr. Christos Lazaridis, MD, BPhil, EDIC

Dr. Christos Lazaridis has specialized experience in the fields of Neurology, Vascular Neurology, and Neurocritical Care. They earned their BPhil in International Studies and Philosophy from the Birkbeck, University of London and their MD from the University of Pécs Medical School. After completing their residency in Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neuroscience Critical Care at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, the expert holds certifications in Vascular Neurology and Neurology. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Professor in the Divisions of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, as the Medical Director of Neurocritical Care and Stroke at St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital, and as an Attending Neurointensivist at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. Currently, they work as a Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and as a Physician with UChicago Medicine.
