Dr. Charles Nyman, MBBCh

Dr. Charles B. Nyman has specialized experience in the fields of Anesthesiology, Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, and Echocardiography. They earned their MBBS from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School. After completing their residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago, they went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Today, the expert holds certifications in Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology, Anesthesiology, and Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. Previously, they held roles as the Associate Director of Interventional Cardiac Anesthesia Services and as the Associate Program Director of the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Currently, they work as a Staff Anesthesiologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital. They are also the Director of Interventional Cardiac Anesthesia Services at Brigham and Women's Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.
