Dr. Cappi Lay, MD

Dr. Cappi C. Lay has specialized experience in the fields of Emergency Medicine and Neurocritical Care. They earned their BA in Chemistry and Philosophy from Cornell University and their MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing their residency in Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neurocritical Care at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Today, the expert holds certifications in Neurocritical Care and Emergency Medicine. Previously, they held roles as a Director at Harborview Medical Center and Director and Co-Director at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Currently, they work as an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, an Attending Physician at Mount Sinai Hospital, and an Attending at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
