About Dr. Bao G. Tran, MD

Dr. Bao Tran earned his BA in Biology from Brown University and his MD from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, he went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in General Cardiology at the University of California Los Angeles, and an additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Hospitalist at the California Pacific Medical Center, as a Cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente, and as the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program at St. Mary's Medical Center. Currently, he serves as an Interventional Cardiologist at Cardiovascular Medical Group and as the Chair of the Department of Cardiology at St Mary’s Medical Center.
