Dr. Ashutosh Kaul has 20 years of experience in the field of Bariatric Surgery. He earned his MBBS from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College and an MS in Surgery from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center and St Barnabas Medical Center, he went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at New York Medical College. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and specializes in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and as an invited speaker at several national and international conferences. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Surgery and as the Director of the Minimally Invasive Fellowship Program at New York Medical College.
