He earned his BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University and his MD from Yale School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, he went on to complete another residency in Pediatric Orthopedics at Shriners' Hospital for Children.
