About Dr. Andrew Michael Baker, MD
Dr. Andrew Baker has 24 years of experience in the fields of Pathology and Forensic Pathology. He earned his BS from the University of Iowa and his MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. After completing an internship in Urology and a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, he went on to complete a fellowship in Forensic Pathology at Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. Today, this expert is board-certified in both Forensic Pathology and Anatomic Pathology, as well as Clinical Pathology. Formerly, he served as a Chief Deputy Medical Examiner at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, and as a Staff Pathologist at the Walter Reed National Military Center. He currently serves as both a Staff Member for the Forensic Pathology Fellowship and as the Chief Medical Examiner at the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.
