Dr. Andrew J. Margenot has 7 years of experience in Soil Sciences and Biogeochemistry. He earned his BA in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Philosophy from Connecticut College, and his Ph.D. in Soils and Biogeochemistry from the University of California, Davis. Formerly, this expert served as an Affiliate Graduate Faculty in the Department of Horticulture at Texas A&M University. Currently, this expert serves as an Affiliate Faculty of the Program in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology, Center for African Studies, and Center for Digital Agriculture and as an Assistant professor in the Department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He also serves as the Technical Leader of Kellogg Soil Survey Laboratory - Soil Enzymes in the United States Department of Agriculture. He is also the Co-Associate Director and Founder of the Agroecosystem Sustainability Center, Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
