Dr. Amy Liepert, MD, FACS

Dr. Amy E. Liepert has specialized experience in the fields of General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Surgery. They earned their BS from Marquette University and their MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing their residency in General Surgery at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, they went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. Currently, they work as an Independent Surgical Contractor at Surgical Health Policy Advocacy.
