About Dr. Allen Patrick Burke, MD

Dr.Allen Burke has 29 years of experience in the field of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He earned his BA from University of California Los Angeles and his MD from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. After completing his residency in Pathology at Letterman Army Medical Center, he went on to complete three fellowships, in Genitourinary Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, and Cardiovascular Pathology at Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Today, this expert is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chair in the Department of Cardiovascular Pathology at Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and as the Associate Medical Director at CVPath Institute. Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pathology, an Associate Professor in the department of pathology at Howard University Hospital, as a Staff Pathologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and as a Professor of Pathology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
