About Dr. Alex Merkulov, MD

Dr. Alex Merkulov has 11 years of experience in the field of Radiology. He earned his BS in Biology from Montclair State University and his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After completing a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, he went on to complete a fellowship in Body Imaging at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Formerly, this expert served as an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the UConn School of Medicine, as the Program Director for the Diagnostic Imaging Fellowship at UConn Health, and as a Managing Partner of Adventure Rooms. He currently serves as the Section Head of Women's Imaging and as a Diagnostic Imaging Physician for UConn Health. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the UConn School of Medicine and as a self-employed Medico-Legal Consultant.
