Expert Qualifications
This senior pathologist is Board Certified in neuropathology and anatomic pathology, and trained in forensic pathology. He earned his M.D. and a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology from the University of Chicago. The expert spent the major part of his career in academia including positions as a professor of pathology and vice chairperson of the department of pharmacological and physiological sciences at the University of Chicago, as the chair of the department of pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and as an endowed professor of pathology and neurology at Emory University. he has coauthored over 140 publications and is a member of several relevant medical associations, including the American Association of Investigative Pathology, the American Association of Neuropathologists, and the International Academy of Pathology. Since 2010 this expert practiced forensic pathology in several major metropolitan offices. He has been qualified as an expert and testified in numerous criminal and civil trials. He currently works privately as an expert consultant in anatomic, neuropathology and forensic pathology.
