After completing his training, he went on to serve as an attending adult and pediatric cardiac surgeon, the lead of the thoracic residency program, and an assistant professor in surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He is active in his field as a member of associations such as the Society of Thoracic Surgery and he has authored over 70 publications and 2 book chapters. Currently, he is an attending cardiothoracic surgeon at an MA medical center.
