This highly qualified expert is board certified in behavior analysis and conducts studies on autism spectrum disorders. She received her MS degree in special education from the University of Illinois and her PhD degree from Indiana University. She is a member of the board of directors at the National Autism Society of America and the vice-president at Northwest Indiana Autism Society of America. She has published a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and is a guest editor for the Journal of Autism and Developmental Issues. She lectures both nationally and internationally and has received multiple honors for her outstanding work, including the Indiana Council of Administrators of Special Education's "Distinguished Service Award". She is the former coordinator of the Indiana LRE initiative and the Integrated and Effective Schools Project at Indiana University, through which she created integrated options for students served in separate facilities. Currently, she is the Director of the Resource Center for Autism at a major university.
