Nahim Mizan, M.D.

Dr. Nahim Mizan is a Medical Research Associate with residency training in Family Medicine. Dr. Mizan has presented and organized many interdepartmental presentations on a variety of pathologies and led and directed medical teams composed of physicians, nurses, social workers, and case managers. Trained as a generalist, he is familiar with most specialties of medicine from obstetrics and pediatrics to psychiatry and geriatrics. His research interests and publications center on child psychiatry and early developmental disorders including ASD and ADHD. A proponent of providing health services to all, Dr. Mizan led a team of US physicians to the city of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2018 and assisted in creating a women’s and children’s clinic which has been providing vital medical care to the Rohingya refugees to this day.

Dr. Mizan earned his B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA and his M.D. from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.
