Dr. Nahim Mizan is a licensed Family Medicine physician with additional certifications in Medical Ethics and Medical Jurisprudence. As a trained generalist, he has extensive experience managing patients across various fields, including inpatient, outpatient, ER, dermatology, oncology, nursing home, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, and geriatrics. In 2018, he led a team of physicians from the United States to Bangladesh, where they provided vital medical aid to Rohingya refugees. His research interests and publications center on child psychiatry and early developmental disorders including ASD and ADHD. Dr. Mizan is also dedicated to advancing medical education within healthcare institutions nationwide, working to enhance hospital and clinic protocols and improve patient safety metrics and outcomes. Dr. Mizan has worked on thousands of cases involving standard of care, causation, and damages arguments.
Dr. Mizan earned his B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA and his M.D. from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.
