I am a civil litigator and partner in the Scranton, Pennsylvania law firm of FOLEY, COMERFORD & CUMMINS where I handle all sorts of civil litigation matters all across Northeastern Pennsylvania with a focus on insurance defense matters involving automobile accident, premises liability, and products liability cases. I have earned the top AV rating under the Martindale Hubbell peer review rating system. In addition to litigating civil matters, I have also served as an award-winning columnist for the Pennsylvania Law Weekly, covering important cases and trends in Pennsylvania law. I am also the writer of the annual Supplement to the legal treatise entitled Pennsylvania Trial Advocacy Handbook. I graduated with honors from Villanova University and obtained my law degree from the Dickinson School of Law. After law school, I clerked for two years with President Judge Harold A. Thomson, Jr. of the Pike County Court of Common Pleas before going into private practice.
