Job Description

Content quality is the most paramount to our content delivery, we require an analyst with experience in reviewing case information related to civil litigation that is being collected by various legal research teams located throughout the world.  

Our Case Law Quality Control Analyst is focused on reviewing, correcting and approving an integral data segment of a recently released new initiative. This position will be the last quality control step before the data, as a part of a larger content centric offering, is released to our lawyer clients. You will be working in Data Central, our recently launched Content Collection and curation tool, which enables our products and legal clients to interact with experts within our network. 

Our Case Law Quality Control Analyst will:

  • Work in a timely fashion to update, maintain and improve inaccurate information in our content collection and curation tool

  • Train individuals within our various litigation research teams to more accurately and more efficiently capture litigation activity used in our repository.

  • Communicate often and effectively with the various domestic and international legal researchers

  • Utilize their knowledge of the legal process and and their practical experience of WestLaw, Bloomberg Law or LexisNexis

  • 2+ years of professional experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Some level of paralegal experience or understanding of litigation activity within the context of the legal process is required

  • A deep understanding of litigation activity as reported as part of a docket is required

  • Experience with WestLaw, Bloomberg Law or LexisNexis is required

  • Experience managing others is a plus

  • Close attention to detail, strong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to think quickly and critically 

  • Mindset of continuous learning and improving

  • Comfortable working in a fast pace, dynamic environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines
