As a member of the Customer Success team, you’re both a face of Expert Institute and a strategic partner to our clients. Our Customer Success team members understand the pulse of the legal industry and can communicate how our expert services will transform a firm’s caseload.

Job Description

  • Prepare and present data-driven pricing proposals for accounts approaching renewal.
  • Lead contract renewal conversations and negotiations with existing clients. 

  • Assist Customer Success reps in building strong relationships and growing their respective books of business by providing strategic support during phone, virtual, and in-person meetings.

  • Demonstrate how Expert Institute’s services and product features can provide a unique value and benefit to the needs of each respective firm.

  • Utilize cross selling & upselling strategies.

  • Identify areas of opportunity to introduce and sell new products and services within our existing Partnership client base. 

  • Identify coaching and mentorship opportunities in sales topics such as negotiation.

  • Oversee and assist with renewals across our entire existing Partnership client base, working with various Customer Success reps within their existing client coverage and book of business.

  • Work closely with our Medical and Research teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

  • Bring passion, energy, and a selling mindset to help grow annual recurring revenue. 

  • Stay up to date on the latest and most relevant legal industry news and updates.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant quota carrying sales and client relationship/ client engagement experience

  • Proven ability to negotiate and renew contracts 

  • Experience at a SaaS company preferred

  • Salesforce experience preferred 

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Knowledge of legal industry is a plus but not required

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting in a fast paced startup environment

  • A positive and professional disposition

  • Continuous interest in learning and growth

  • Some travel required
