Dr. Wajahat Mehal has 20 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. He earned his BA, MD, and PhD from the University of Oxford. He completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Digestive and Kidney Diseases at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate and Assistant Professor of Digestive Diseases at Yale School of Medicine.
