About Dr. Timothy Alan Collins, MD

Dr. Timothy A. Collins has 30 years of experience in the field of Neurology. He earned his BS from Michigan State University and his MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine. After completing an internship and residency in Neurology at the Letterman Army Medical Center, he completed a second residency in Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurology. Formerly, this expert served as an Instructor of Medicine in the Department of Neurology at the Duke University School of Medicine and as both a Staff Neurologist and the Chief of the Neurology Service at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. Most recently, he served as the Headache Fellowship Director at the Duke University Medical Center and as a Consulting Neurologist at Duke's Private Diagnostic Clinic. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Duke University School of Medicine, as the Chief of the Headache Division within the Neurology Department at the Duke University Medical Center, and as the Medical Director of the Duke Neurological Disorders Clinic at Morreene Road.
