Dr. Thomas DeBerardino has 24 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He earned his BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his MD from New York Medical College. After completing his residency in Orthopaedics at Tripler Army Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the US Army Institute of Surgical Research. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Co-Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and as the Medical Director at the Burkhart Research Institute for Orthopaedics. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine as well as at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
