About Dr. Steven Irwin Levin, MD

Dr. Steven I. Levin has over 20 years of experience in Surgery with expertise in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery. He earned his BA in Chemistry from Boston University, and his MD from the Drexel University College of Medicine. After completing a residency in General Surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center, he went on to complete another fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery, Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Surgery, and certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement. Formerly, this expert served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and as an Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Currently, this expert serves as a Cardiovascular Surgeon at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital and as a Lieutenant Colonel and Surgeon in the United States Army Reserve.
