About Dr. Stephen Clayton Saris, MD

Dr. Stephen C. Saris has over 36 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery. He earned his BS in Liberal Arts and his MD from Boston University. He completed his internship in Surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, his residency in Neurological Surgery at Duke University Hospital, and his fellowship in Neurological Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Today this expert is board certified in Neurological Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as the Director of the Brain and Spine Tumor Center at Rhode Island Hospital, as Associate Active Staff of Neurosurgery at Saint Joseph's Hospital, and as an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Rhode Island Hospital. Currently, he works as the Director of the Neurosurgery Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital and is the Founder of Neurosurgery Associates, Inc. He also works as a Lecturer of Neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School.
