About Dr. Scott L Manaker, FACP, FCCP, MD, PhD

Dr. Scott L. Manaker has 33 years of experience in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He earned his BA in Neuroscience and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and his MD from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his residency in Medicine at Boston Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Vice Chair for Regulatory Affairs in the Department of Medicine at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and as the Medical Director of the Physician Systems Integration Services at Penn Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Director of Clinical Documentation in the Department of Medicine and Professor of Medicine at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He also works as an Attending Physician in Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
