Dr. Robert Dale Cox has 30 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology. He earned his BA in Biology and Chemistry from Augustana College, his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Iowa. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center, he went on to complete a residency in Emergency Medicine at UCLA Medical Center and a preceptorship in Medical Toxicology with the Los Angeles Regional Poison Control Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Medical Toxicology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Chair in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Pharmacology, and Toxicology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Medical Toxicology Service, as the Medical and Managing Director of Mississippi Poison Control Center, and as a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
