This expert has over a decade of experience in the field of emergency medicine. He received his BA in biology from Brandeis University and his DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in emergency medicine at Indiana University and a fellowship in medical toxicology at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He is currently triple board certified in emergency medicine, emergency medical services, and medical toxicology and is a certified medical review officer. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Medical Toxicology. Formerly, he was Active Duty Army and held a number of positions, including as the chief of emergency medicine at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital and as the medical director of emergency services at Fort Bliss. He also served as a clinical assistant professor of emergency medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and as a clinical faculty physician at Aria Health Center and Kennedy Health/Rowan SOM. Currently, he is a clinical assistant professor of emergency medicine at two medical schools and a clinical associate professor at an osteopathic college, all in Pennsylvania. This expert is also the associate medical director of the Poison Control Center at an Ivy League-affiliated children’s medical center.
