About Mrs. Megan Alane McCormick, CCRN, CSC, MSN, RN

Ms. Megan McCormick has 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She earned her BA in Spanish and her BSN from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She also completed her MSN from East Carolina University. She is a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. She is certified in Cardiac Surgery and as a Critical Care Registered Nurse by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Formerly, she served as a Supervisor and as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department at UNC REX Hospital and Duke University Medical Center respectively, and as a Clinical Faculty and Instructor of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She also held the position of Nurse Manager of the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit and ECMO Program at UNC REX Hospital. She currently serves as a Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department at UNC REX Hospital and as well as Adjunct Faculty for the RN-BSN Program at William Peace University School of Professional Studies.
