About Dr. Mark Joseph Maciha, EdD, MEd

Dr. Mark J. Maciha has 44 years of experience in Parks and Recreation Management. He earned his BS in Police Science and Administration from Northern Arizona University, his MA in Political Science-Fire and Emergency Management from Oklahoma State University Stillwater, his M.Ed, and his Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Today, this expert is certified as a Park and Recreation Professional by the National Recreation and Park Association. Formerly, this expert served as the Supervisory Park Ranger at the Carlsbad Caverns National Park, as the Chairman of the Department of Geography, Planning, and Recreation at Northern Arizona University, and as the Executive Director at the Permian Basin Regional Training Center. Currently, this expert serves as the Owner and Consultant at Canyon Vista Training and Consulting. He also works as the Dean of Career and Technical Education at the Coconino Community College.
