About Dr. John Paul Fruehauf, MD, PhD

Dr. John P. Fruehauf has 32 years of experience in the field of Hematology and Oncology. He earned his BA from the University of California Santa Barbara, his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Rush University, and his MD from Rush Medical College. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California Irvine Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Oncology at National Cancer Institute. Today, this expert is board-certified in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, he served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer, and Medical Director of Oncotech, Inc. He also served as a Professor of Clinical Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Biological Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Developmental Therapeutics at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, as a Physician at the UCI Medical Center, and as a Professor Emeritus in the Divison of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine.
