About Dr. Jeffrey Phillip Callen, FACP, MD

Dr. Jeffrey P. Callen has over 44 years of experience in the field of Dermatology. He earned his BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his MD from the University of Michigan Medical School. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital, he went on to complete two residencies in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Dermatology Residency Program and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Chief and as a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
