Dr. Elad I. Levy has 20 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery Surgery. He earned his BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College, his MD from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and his MBA from Northeastern University. After completing his internship in General Surgery, and residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, he went on to complete his fellowship in Endovascular Surgery at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Formerly, he held roles as the Director of the Endovascular Fellowship Program and as Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology in the Department of Neurosurgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology and as the L. Nelson Hopkins Chairman of Neurological Surgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also works as the Co-Director of the Gates Stroke Center and Cerebrovascular Surgery at Kaleida Health, as the Director of Endovascular Stroke Treatment and Research, and as the Medical Director of the Neuroendovascular Services at Gates Vascular Institute.
