Dr. Louise D. McCullough has 20 years of experience in the field of Neurology. She earned her BA in Psychology, her MA in Experimental Psychology, and her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut. She also completed her MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. After completing her internship in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, she completed her residency in Neurology and her fellowship in Cerebrovascular Disease, Neurology, and Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Vascular Neurology and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also a Registered Physician in Neurovascular Interpretation by the American Society of Neuroimaging. Formerly, she held roles as a Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at UConn Health, as an Assistant Professor in the Stroke Division of the Department of Neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and as an Attending Neurologist in the Cerebrovascular Division at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Currently, she serves as an Attending Neurologist in the Department of Neurology, as the Co-Director of the Mischer Neuroscience Institute, and as Chief of Neurology at Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center. She also works as a Professor and the Roy M. and Phyllis Gough Huffington Distinguished Chair of the Department of Neurology and as the Director and Principal Investigator in the Brain Research Laboratory at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
