About Dr. Alan Edward Jones, MD, MPH

Dr. Alan E. Jones has 20 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. He earned his BS in Molecular Biology from Millsaps College, his MD from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, and his MPH from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine and research fellowship in Clinical Trials at Carolinas Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as Director of the Clinical Trials Tract at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and as the Chief Telehealth Officer, Chief Operations Physician, and as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Clinical Affairs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Microbiology at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He also serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Clinical Affairs and an Attending Emergency Physician at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
