He completed a general surgery residency and pursued a fellowship in Otolaryngology in L.S.U. Department of Otolaryngology where he also completed a clinical research fellowship in Auditory Physiology. He holds board certifications in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery as well as Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He has published over 30 papers in his field and continues to serve as a Professor and a mentor to ENT surgical residents as well as medical students. He has held positions on various advisory boards. He is currently on the board of Health Professionals Foundation of Louisiana Board of Trustees. In addition to that he is a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at a major university hospital.
