Expert Qualifications
This board certified expert earned his BA and MD from the University of Pennsylvania. Residency training was done at The Hospital for Special Surgery and two fellowships were completed at the Mayo Clinic. He is a member of several medical societies and a reviewer for a number of the most highly regarded medical and orthopedic journals. The expert is actively involved in research and education: to date, he has 20+ original reviewed articles/abstracts, 6 book chapters, and 135+ presentations. Currently, he is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and a Staff Physician and Surgeon at a major university-affiliated medical center. His research interests focus on the biomechanical and kinematic assessment of the normal human shoulder and use of various surgical techniques to repair shoulder injuries.
