Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert is a board certified orthopaedic spine surgeon that has been practicing for 25 years. He earned his BA from the University of California, Berkley and his MD from Albany Medical College. He completed an internship in General Surgery at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine followed by an Orthopedic Surgery residency also at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After residency he completed an orthopaedic spine fellowship at University of Minnesota/Twin Cities Scoliosis Spine Center. He is a member of several national orthopedic societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and The Academic Orthopaedic Society. He has published over 152 peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters, editorials, and abstracts. He is a former orthopaedic spine attending and associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is currently a Professor of Orthopaedic Spine at a major medical university center.
