This board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon currently serves in various positions at a major university medical center including Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Division Chief of Sports Medicne. In addition to receiving the Excellence in Research award by the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, he has 9 active research grants. He is a team physician for the University of Michigan Athletic Programs, and currently consults for the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Red Wings. His clinical interests include sports medicine, shoulder surgery, hip preservation, and knee ligament reconstruction.
