This highly qualified expert is board certified in family medicine and has been practicing for 16+ years. He received his MD degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of California, Irvine. He is a member of multiple academic and professional associations, including the American Academy of Family Practice and the California Academy of Family Physicians. He is widely published and won a Macy Faculty Scholar Award. He was listed as "One of America's Top Family Doctors" by the Consumers' Research Council of America and currently lectures both nationally and internationally. He is the former director of the Family Medicine Residency program at the University of California, Irvine, and a current clinical professor of family medicine at a major university. He is also the Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at a major university.
